Description

When reproducing copies from models according to the forms, metal, gypsum, papier-mâché, mass of glue, chalk and paper, and in the models a resin-and-wax alloy with a rough lining of cotton wool and gauze, were usually used, but molds obtained from these materials, they are significant in weight, some of them are fragile, framed, and the last resin-wax alloy is so malleable that its products cannot be handled and should be stored under glass; To eliminate these drawbacks, a method is proposed for obtaining impressions using thin layers of absorbent cotton treated with adhesive composition and resin-wax alloy, giving light, elastic, non-boxed impressions. The method consists in the fact that when it is carried out on models made of any material or on forms made of gypsum, a thin film of thin layers of cotton wool soaked in an adhesive substance is better hygroscopic. After this film has been passed through, the cast represents an exact copy of the original and for strengthening it is subjected to processing with a resin-wax composition applied with a brush in a hot form, and with the help of a jet of hot air all the excess composition is driven from the front side of the film to the inside. After cooling, the film takes on a more durable appearance without the noticeable presence on the face of the resin and wax. Then, in order to make the impression more effective, it is compacted from the inside of the glue with glue from chalk or paint and the application of thin layers of wool or gauze. If it is required to make an impression from a large object, then the O-adhesive wadding film is made up of several pieces, which are then dried and impregnated with a resin-and-wax composition and fused between them with the same resin-wax composition and for greater strength are compacted with glue or chalk paint with the imposition of thin layers of cotton or gauze. Joint joints between individual parts of the films are made with the help of hot tools. By making a copy of the model, it is subjected to exterior finishing: painting, polishing, bronzing, etc. of cotton wool, down, feathers, etc. of the material on the core, by soaking layers of these materials with a hot resin and wax composition differing from , that the above materials, when applied, are pre-impregnated with adhesive substances.
