Abstract

FIELD: decorative and applied arts.

SUBSTANCE: as a base for fresco nonwoven fabric e.g. vlies is used. Aqueous adhesive is applied on the vlies. Decoration plaster of upto 1 mm thick is applied to the layer of wet adhesive. During drying the plaster cracks and sticks tight to the vlies. Following complete drying the surface of the obtained canvas is polished thoroughly and then ground coat is applied. Following drying of the ground coat the picture proper is painted with water base paints. The water base paints are applied by means of plotter. Printing is performed by water base paints for interior printing. The printed picture is varnished. When the varnish is dried decorative structural mosaic paint is applied onto the picture. Before it gets dry excessive decorative structural mosaic paint is washed off with water and a wiper. Thus the paint remains only in the cracks painting them white.

EFFECT: ensures flexibility of the produced canvas with frescos that makes it more widely used and increases printing speed.

Description

The invention relates to the field of arts and crafts and can be used to create images such as frescoes when creating interior interiors.

The well-known "Method of performing monumental painting" (SU, No. 384694 A1, 1973), as a result of the implementation of which an image of the fresco type is obtained.

The known method involves applying water-based paints to the plaster.

An image of a fresco type obtained as a result of the implementation of the known method includes a layer of plaster with an image applied to it with water colors.

The disadvantages of the known method and image include the following. The known method does not allow you to create images with sufficient flexibility to stick them on surfaces that differ from the plane.

The technical result, which the invention is aimed at, is to provide flexibility for the created canvas with frescoes, which expands the possibilities of its use, increasing print speed.

The specified technical result in part related to the method is achieved by the fact that in the method of creating an artistic image such as a fresco, in which the image is obtained by applying water-based paints to the plaster, the plaster is applied in a thin layer to a layer of dry adhesive previously applied to the nonwoven fabric, after which the non-woven fabric with adhesive and plaster layers applied to it is kept at room temperature until it dries completely with cracks in the plaster, after the plaster dries they are ground, then a layer of soil is applied, after applying the soil, the image is applied with water paints, then the image is covered with a varnish layer, after drying, structural paint is applied to the resulting image, filling the cracks formed in the plaster, after which the remains of the structural paint are removed from the image surface and the structural paint remaining in the cracks is dried at room temperature.

Drawing the image with water colors can be carried out by means of the plotter.

Plaster can be applied with a layer of a thickness not exceeding 1 mm.

The specified technical result in the part related to the image is achieved by the fact that in the fresco type artistic image, including a layer of plaster with water painted on it, the plaster is applied in a thin layer to a layer of glue previously applied to the nonwoven fabric, with the formation of cracks on the plaster, a layer of soil is applied to the plaster layer, on which the image is applied with water paints, coated with a layer of varnish, and cracks in the plaster are filled with structural paint.

An artistic image of the type of fresco (hereinafter referred to as the fresco) is obtained when implementing the method, which is as follows.

A nonwoven material, for example, non-woven, is used as the basis of the mural. The non-woven fabric is laid on a flat table surface; the size of the non-woven fabric can reach up to 300 cm in length and 200 cm in width.

Water-based glue is used on the non-woven, used to glue wood and paper. The glue is evenly applied using a paint roller.

A decorative plaster used for wall decoration is applied to a layer of dry glue. The plaster is applied with a spatula, uniformly the same thickness up to 1 mm, avoiding the formation of scratches and strips from the spatula. A thin layer of plaster provides flexibility of the canvas, which in turn makes it possible to print the image using a plotter, as well as stick the canvas on surfaces other than the plane, for example, on cylindrical ones - columns, arches, etc., and also provides ease of storage and transportation.

Then, the non-woven fabric with the stucco applied to the dried glue is kept on the table until it dries completely, about 12 hours.

In the process of drying, due to the difference in the coefficients of shrinkage of the adhesive and the plaster, the plaster becomes cracked and adheres firmly to the non-woven. The canvas is completely covered with cracks. Moreover, the nature of the cracks is chaotic. The size of the cracks depends on the thickness of the applied layer of plaster, more layer - more cracks, less layer - less cracks. Thus, the size of the cracks can be controlled. The presence of cracks, in addition to giving the visual effect of antiquity, makes it possible to increase the flexibility of the finished canvas with frescoes, since it can be said that at the locations of the cracks the canvas is equipped with “hinges”.

12 hours after complete drying, the surface of the resulting fabric is carefully ground, for example, using an abrasive skin.

After grinding, a layer of soil is applied to the surface of the canvas. For this, any primer for walls is used. A layer of soil is necessary to obtain saturated colors.

After the soil has dried, the actual image is applied with water-based paints. Water-based paints are applied by means of a plotter connected to a computer, which stores digitized images that are printed. At the moment, it is possible to obtain ready-made paintings with frescos up to 180 cm wide and up to 500 cm long. The digitized images are entered into the computer from a digital camera, scanner, or CD. Printing produce water-based paints for interior printing. In addition to the plotter, other devices for printing can be used to print images with water colors, however, for replication, the plotter is more suitable from the point of view of the speed of applying the image.

The finished, printed image is varnished to protect against moisture. After the varnish has completely dried (after about 1 hour), a decorative structural mosaic paint is applied to the image. Without allowing to dry, excess structural mosaic paint is washed off with a rag and water. Thus, the paint remains only in the cracks, painting them white. Drying time 1 hour.

The fresco is completely ready and it can be glued to a wall or other surface in the same way as the wallpapering process is carried out - glue is applied to the wall with a roller, an image (mural) is applied and smoothed with a rubber roller.
