Description
The invention relates to the metallurgical industry, in particular to the processing of ladle slags.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the technology, reduce the energy consumption, dust emission and the output of oversized slag.
The method is carried out as follows.
The residue of slag removed from the ladle is cooled in air with a stream of water at the rate of 0.1-0.3 m3 per ton of slag. Water cooled and cracked from thermal shock into smaller pieces of bucket remains are shoveled with a grab crane or an excavator, additionally being crushed, loaded onto vehicles and transported to a warehouse where they are kept for LOO day depending on the type of slag.
In the process of slag aging, it disintegrates, i.e. the fractional composition changes in the direction of relative

To reduce dust emissions. The environment during slag processing is moistened by any known method.
