The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of fuel combustion by improving the dispersion of the fuel and its mixture formation with air.
The burner contains a cylindrical vortex chamber 1 with tangential nozzles 2 and 3 of the primary and secondary air. The primary air nozzles 2 are enclosed in a duct 4. to which the air duct 5 is connected, and the secondary air nozzles 3 are enclosed in a duct 6 to which the air duct 7 is connected. At the inlet of the vortex chamber 1, the fuel pipe 8 is coaxially located. The output end of the pipe 8 is located inside the vortex chamber 1 and executed in. in the form of a truncated cone 9 with radial slots 10 on its side surface, while the axes of the primary air nozzles 2 are directed tangentially to the average diameter of the truncated cone 9. The secondary air nozzles 3 are located at equal distances along the longitudinal axis of the vortex chamber
1. Radial slots 10 are made at right angles to the axes of the opposing nozzles 2 of the primary air.
The burner operates as follows.
Fuel is supplied to the nozzle 8 and, passing through the radial slots 10 of the truncated cone 9, leaves in the form of flat jets in the vortex chamber 1. The primary air through the air duct 5 enters the duct 4, from where it is fed through the nozzles 2 under pressure into the vortex chamber 1. primary air, directed tangentially to the average diameter of the truncated cone 9, pass by the slots 10 and cut off a thin layer of fuel, dispersing it well. The execution of the cone 9 truncated reduces the length of the slots 10, and the direction of the axes of the nozzles 2 to the average diameter of the truncated cone 9 allows you to evenly distribute the action of the jets of primary air along the entire length of the slots 10. This thereby enhances the effect of air jets on the fuel leaving the slots 10. Location slots 10 on the cone 9 at right angles to the axes of the opposing nozzles 2 allows you to cut the thinnest layer of fuel and disperse it into small particles.
Secondary air enters the duct 5 through the air duct 7, from where it is fed under pressure into the vortex chamber 1 through nozzles 3. These air jets form an annular air cushion due to centrifugal forces and the effect of adhesion of the jets to the plane, and also further disperse the fuel particles, forming a fuel-air mixture suitable for burning. The air cushion picks up the air-fuel mixture and throws it into the combustion chamber, where it ignites and burns. The location of the nozzles 2 through equal distances along the longitudinal axis of the burner creates a uniform air cushion throughout the vortex chamber 1, which eliminates the sticking of fuel particles to its walls, improves the mixing of fuel particles with air and allows you to get a homogeneous air-fuel mixture.
