Изобретение относитс к технологии тонкой очистки газов от тумана серной кислоты , примен емой дл защиты окружающей среды от промышленных выбросов в атмосферу, позвол ющей снизить остаточное содержание серной кислоты в газах. Способ заключаетс в обработке отход щих газов в вакуумном аппарате при давлении 2-4 104 Па с одновременной нейтрализацией их водным раствором гидроксида кальци в том же аппарате.
