Abstract
The invention relates to the technology of electrochemical production, in particular to methods for producing bivalent lead sulfate. The proposed method allows increasing the current efficiency of the process due to the use of divalent lead sulfate in a known method for producing sulfate by electrochemical dissolution of a lead electrode in a solution of sulfuric acid with an alternating current of industrial frequency; 0-4.5 kA / m 2 on a lead electrode 48.0-18.0 kA / m 2 on a titanium electrode. 2 tab.
Description
This invention relates to inorganic chemistry, in particular, to the development of methods for producing bivalent lead sulfate.
The aim of the invention is to obtain a bivalent lead sulphate with a higher current yield.
The method is carried out as follows.
The electrolysis is carried out in sulfuric acid solution (100-200 g / l of sulfuric acid) by industrial alternating current using lead and titanium electrodes. The choice of the concentration of sulfuric acid is due to the maximum electrical conductivity of solutions in this concentration range. The current density on the lead electrode is 1.0-4.5 kA / ky, on the titanium one - 8.0-18.0 kA / m. A white electrode is formed on the lead electrode.
порошок сульфата двухвалентного свинца , который оседает на дно электролизера .bivalent lead sulfate powder that settles to the bottom of the electrolyzer.
At the end of the experiment, the precipitate is thoroughly washed from the electrolyte and dried in air.
The calculation of the output of lead sulfate (II) current lead to the anode half cycle of alternating current.
2.0The research results are shown in tables 1 and 2.0
53,54%.An example (optimal conditions), Electrolysis is carried out in a glass electrolyzer with industrial alternating current at room temperature. The electrolyte is a solution of sulfuric acid (), the current density on the lead electrode is 3 kA / m, on the titanium one - 14 kA / mg. Extraction of experience 2 hours. The output of lead (II) sulfate at a current of 53.54%.

ч,The results of chemical and X-ray phase analyzes indicate that the preparation obtained (PbSO) corresponds to the reagent grade qualification
2.As can be seen from the examples (Table 1) and 2-9 (Table 2) the optimal mode of the process: the current density on the titanium electrode is 8.0-18.0 kA / m2, on the lead one 1.0-4.5 kA / m2 .
By reducing the current density on the titanium electrode below 8.0 kA / m
51-52%.lead due to destruction of the electrode. The current output remains in the range of 51-52%.
According to the proposed method, the yield of the target product by current is 53.54% and the obtained preparation corresponds to the reagent of qualification of mark x, h. against 16.9% of the prototype.
