The invention relates to mechanical engineering.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the service life by reducing the slippage between the friction linings and the brake band due to the magnetic interaction between them.
FIG. 1 shows a belt brake, general view; in fig. 2 — node I in FIG. 1 (flange removed) the position of the friction lining on the working surface of the pulley; in fig. 3 shows section A-A in FIG. one; in fig. 4 - friction lining, longitudinal section.
The belt brake contains a pulley 1 fixed to the shaft 2. The brake pulley 1 has flanges 3. The working surface of the pulley 1 is evenly fitted with friction lining 4, separated and held together by extension tension springs 5. The latter are mounted concentric with rods 6, which are made of magnetic material and molded into friction material, lining 4, with the ends of the magnetic rods 6 protruding beyond the end surfaces. In the friction linings 4, notches 7 are made and magnetic conductive inserts 8 are installed in them. In the height of the friction linings 4, the magnetic conductive inserts 8 are at a level greater than the allowable wear of each friction lining 4. The magnetic conductive inserts 8 play the role of pole pieces N and S. The tape 9 by the running end 10 is attached pivotally to the body. And by the running end 12 to the drive lever 13 and not connected to the friction linings 4. In the braked state, the friction linings 4 are in rotational position. m moving along with the pulley 1, holding on its surface by the tensile force of the springs connecting them 5. Due to the forces of magnetic interaction, the friction lining 4 interact with each other and with the tape 9. Depending on the position of the poles of the magnetic rods 6 and the magnetic conductive inserts 8 There are two options for the interaction of friction linings.
The first option is interaction.
9.Friction lining 4 are directed to each other by opposite poles (N-S; N-S). With such an arrangement of the poles, the friction linings 4 are attracted to each other, creating an additional pressing force on the pulley 1. At the same time, the magnetically conducting inserts 8, interacting with the tape 9, are attracted to it and, thus, reduce the pressing force of the friction linings 4 to the working surface of the pulley 1. The resulting force ultimately depends on the distance between the friction lining 4 and the belt 9.
The second option is interaction.
9.Friction lining 4 are directed to each other by the same poles (N - N or S-S). In this case, repulsive forces arise between the friction linings 4, which reduce the pressing force on the pulley 1 and increase the interaction of the magnetic conductive inserts 8 with the tape 9.

4.Thus, depending on the sequence of installation of the magnetically conductive inserts 8 in the friction linings 4, the specific loads on the surfaces of the friction linings 4 are controlled.
The tape brake works as follows.
When the drive lever 13 is pressed, the brake tape 9 approaches the friction linings 4, selects an air gap between the magnetically conductive inserts 8 and the tape 9, and comes in contact with them. As a result, the magnetic circuit is closed by a tape 9, which leads to an increase in
1.magnetic interaction between the magnetic conductive inserts 8 and the tape 9. The pressure on the outer surface of the friction lining 4 is greater than the pressure on the working surface in contact with the pulley 1.
1.Thus, slipping of the friction linings 4 on the brake band 9 is prevented. When braking, the tape 9, which has an incident 10 and running 12 branches, is pressed against the friction linings 4, which interact with the pulley 1. The resulting frictional forces and the moment of friction stop the brake pulley one.
4.When the brake is opened, the tape 9 is retracted from the friction linings 4.
При последующем торможении под набегающую ветвь 10 ленты 9, создающей максимальные удельные нагрузки, попадают уже другие фрикционные накладки 4, что тем самым способствует равномерному износу пар трени .The magnetic interaction of the friction lining 4 with the brake band 9 is much lower than the elastic force of the stretching springs 5, which are a kind of damping elements when the lining 4 strikes the pulley 1. Subsequently, the friction lining 4 is in rotational movement along with the pulley 1, holding on its surface by the force of tension of the springs connecting them 5. During subsequent braking, under the oncoming branch 10 of the belt 9, creating maximum specific loads, already other friction linings 4 fall, thereby contributing to license plate wear of friction pairs.
