Описываемый способ изготовлени  профильных труб отличаетс  от известных тем, что волочение осуществл ют из заготовки, имеющей круглое отверстие с продольными ребрами, а основной деформацией будет профилирование с последующим обжатием по стенкам. Профилировка заключаетс  в сочетании р да последовательных безоправочных и оправочных проходов. Например, при волочении симметричных пр моугольных труб с пр моугольным отверстием осуществл етс  однц безоправочное волочение - плющение 1 (см. фиг. 2) и одно чистовое волочение на короткой оправке. При волочении ja оправке процесс деформации можно разбить на несколько стадий: редуцирование 2, деформаци  3, стенки и калибровка 4.
