Description

(100-200°).A known method of producing polyethylene terephthalate by polycopy is of dimethyl ester of terephthalic acid with glycol. From the resin obtained in this way, a polyester fiber is obtained by melt-melting, which, to give it a sufficient strength, is subjected to additional drawing at a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the polyester (100-200 °).

The proposed method involves the preparation of polyethylene terephthalate plasticized with boiling compounds capable of forming azeotropic mixtures with ethylene glycol.

270-280°.To this end, a solvent in an amount of 10-30% by weight of the product is introduced into the primary product of the polycondensation of dimethyl terephthalate with glycol, which is obtained in a known manner, and the reaction mixture is heated to 270-280 °.

The glycol released during the polycondensation process is intensely distilled off as an azeotropic mixture with solvent vapors, which, as it is distilled off, is continuously replenished. The duration of the polycondensation process depends on the intensity of the glycol distillation and, in order to accelerate this process, you can purge nitrogen purified from oxygen through the melt or else conduct a distillation under a small vacuum corresponding to 400–200 mm of residual pressure.

По окончании поликонденсацнн, о чем суд т по прекращению отгонки гликол , получают однородную в зкую массу пластифицированного растворителем нолиэтилентерефталата, который может подвергатьс  пр дению и выт жке при температурах более низких, чем дл  непластифицированной с.молы. Так, например, при содержании пластификатора в количестве 25-30% пр дение ведут при 250°, а выт жку - при комнатной температуре. В случае необходимости пластификатор может быть удален из волокна или готовой ткани промывкой дихлорэтаном, бензо№1379932 --, ;At the end of the polycondensation, as judged by the termination of the glycol distillation, a homogeneous, viscous mass of plasticized with solvent polyethylene terephthalate is obtained, which can be spun and stretched at temperatures lower than for unplasticized gr. So, for example, when the content of the plasticizer in the amount of 25-30% is, spraying is carried out at 250 °, and the stretching is at room temperature. If necessary, the plasticizer can be removed from the fiber or finished fabric by washing with dichloroethane, benzo no.379932 -,;

Волокно после промывки не тер ет свою прочность и приобретает большую способность к поверхностному окрашиванию.scrap or another easily volatile non-solvent polyethylene terephthalate solvent. The fiber after washing does not lose its strength and acquires greater ability to surface dyeing.

A method of producing polyethylene terephthalate using plasticizers, characterized in that, in order to simplify the stretching process and improve its ability to be stainable, arylmethanes such as diphenylmethane, phenyltolylmethane, ditolylmethane, or mixtures thereof are used as plasticizers.
