Abstract
The invention relates to methods for producing coagulants and can be used in the chemical and other sectors of the industry for wastewater treatment.
Цель изобретени - повьшение степени очистки воды при использовании коагул нта за счет повьшении его качества .The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of water purification when using coagulant due to an increase in its quality.
Example, Sludge water treatment plant, containing 58 wt.% Organic impurities and having the following composition of the calcined residue, wt.%: AljOg 25,5; Fe, 0j 1.74; SiOj 18.25; CoO 0.66; MgO 0.35, dehydrated and dried at lOO-IIO C. Then, various amounts of concentrated sulfuric acid are introduced into the dried precipitate with stirring. After treatment with sulfuric acid, the precipitate is treated with various amounts of 63% nitric acid. The result is a coagulant in the form of fine powder.
For comparison, the sediment of a water treatment plant of the indicated composition is compacted in a settling tank, concentrated on a separator, subjected to freezing, thawing, followed by calcining and treated with concentrated sulfuric acid. Before use, the coagulant obtained is subjected to grinding.
The quality of the obtained coagulants was tested on water with a color of 64 degrees with a suspended matter content of 2.3 mg / l.
The results of experiments on the quality of coagulants obtained and the ratio of reagents are presented in the table.
