Предметом насто щего изобретени   вл етс  способ получени  продукта конденсации бэтанафтола с формальдегидом в присутствии солей сернистой кислоты и щелочей. Полученный продукт может быть выгодно применен 15 текстильной промышленности дл  закреплени  основных красок на хлопчато-бумажных ткан х, вместо других уже известных закрепителей, напр., продукта конденсации формалина с резорцином , танина и других, перед которыми он, по мнению автора, имеет то преимущество, что он не подвергаетс  окислению воздухом и  вл етс  продуктом посто нным.The object of the present invention is a process for the preparation of a condensation product of beta-naphthol with formaldehyde in the presence of sulfuric acid salts and alkalis. The resulting product can be advantageously applied by the 15 textile industry to fix basic dyes on cotton fabrics, instead of other already known fixers, for example, the condensation product of formalin with resorcinol, tannin and others, to which, according to the author, has the advantage that it is not subject to oxidation by air and is a constant product.

При получении вышеуказанного продукта , реакци , по опытам автора, происходит следующим образом. При слабом нагревании бэтанафтола с формальдегидом в присутствии незначительного количества калнумсульфита, формальдегид и бэтанафтол вступают в реакцию в соотношени х, близких к их молекул рным весам; калиумсульфит служит, повидимому, катализатором. При помеп1ивании реакци  начинаетс  спуст  коротко еврем , при чем бэтанафтол принимает вид маслообразного вепхества на дне сосуда, а далее, при повышающейс  температуре, происходит энергичное взаимодействие бэтанафтола и формальдегида и окончательный продукт конденсации принимает твердую консистенцию .Upon receipt of the above product, the reaction, according to the experiments of the author, is as follows.
