Изобретение относ тс к металлургии , в частности к применению в качестве модификатора дл чугуна отходов футеровки стеклоплавильных агрегатов .The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the use as a modifier for cast iron waste lining glass-making units.
The aim of the invention is to reduce, chill, increase the tensile strength and increase the duration of the modifying effect.
Расход известного и предложенного модификатора 0,2-0,6 мас.%.Processing is subjected to cast iron containing, wt.%: C 3,6; Si 1.9 and Mp 0.5, melted in an induction furnace. The temperature of the melt is 1400 C. The consumption of the known and proposed modifier is 0.2-0.6 wt.%.
1.The properties of cast iron after treatment with black graphite and siliconized graphite waste are given in Table 1.

The presence of siliconized silicon carbide and silica in the composition contributes to the formation of additional crystallization centers in the molten iron. This contributes to the change of the eutectic grain and the improvement of technical properties.
As follows from Table 1, the use of siliconized graphite waste, which, in contrast to black graphite, contains silicon carbide and silicon oxides, provides equal chipping, a 10% increase in strength, and a reduction in cost of $ 1, at an equal consumption of modifier. Siliconized graphite is well absorbed by liquid iron and, as follows from the table. 2, provides greater stability modifying effect.
