Description
Это приводит к повышению влажности отход щих газов и снижению концентрации образующейс серной кислоты, избыток которой сбрасываетс в отвал .Water is introduced into the fluidized bed in a sprayed state to control the temperature during calcination of sulfide concentrates. This leads to an increase in the moisture content of the exhaust gases and a decrease in the concentration of sulfuric acid produced, the excess of which is dumped into the dump.
The described method of controlling the temperature of the fluidized bed during calcining of sulphide materials makes it possible to obtain grooves with an increased concentration of sulfur dioxide and, therefore, increases the concentration of sulfuric acid produced, which eliminates the need to dump it. This is achieved by replacing, in the sprayed state, instead of water, in a sprayed state, the sulfuric acid washing in the process cycle of low concentration, which was previously dumped. The cooling of the fluidized bed by the described method can also be carried out in combination with heat exchangers cooled by water or air.
The physicochemical processes that occur when a sulfuric acid wash is introduced into a dilute layer consist in that at 800–900 ° the water in the fluidized bed evaporates and the sulfuric acid dissociates with heat absorption into water vapor, sulfurous anhydride and oxygen. At the same time, the temperature of the fluidized bed is reduced, the burning gases are enriched with sulfuric anhydride, and the oxygen oxidizes the sulfides contained in the material to be calcined, forming additional amounts of sulfurous anhydride. The firing gases are sent to the sulfuric acid plant to produce concentrated sulfuric acid. Along the way, they pass through a wash, where water vapors condense to form a wash with weak sulfuric acid containing monohydrite (H2SO4) 30% or more.
This wash acid is again used to cool the bed.
