Description

The invention relates to methods for isolating winding sections of high-voltage apparatus, in particular transformers.

Currently, elements of high-voltage apparatuses operating in oil are insulated by sequential multi-layer coating with keeper tape, varnished cloth, telephone or other thin paper. The most common is paper insulation, with its elephant fastened with resin. Each layer is ironed with hot irons. These operations are manual and very labor intensive.

The proposed method makes it possible to reduce the laboriousness of the isolation process, reduce the cost of the product and give the insulating layer the most rational configuration.

This is achieved by using gypsum as an electrically insulating material, which forms a monolithic insulation layer.

The drawing schematically shows a mold for insulating windings in this way.

Here: 1-sprue, 2-rod, 3-flange, 4-split form, 5- winding leads, 6-winding.

The section of the winding is placed in a detachable form, filled with plaster mortar, which, solidified, creates a dense monolithic shell around the section. After the plaster has hardened, the insulated section of the winding is removed from the mold and existing.

After the final assembly of the aparath, the section is immersed in oil and re-formed in vacuum at 100 °. During the first process, moisture is removed from the section, and air is removed from the second.
