Abstract

Description

This technical solution, as described herein, relates to a protective cover and a promotional medium for beverage cans.

More specifically, the present invention relates to a cover intended to act as a security element, in particular of a hygienic nature, and as a promotional medium for promotion and public administration for beverage cans, ensuring adequate hygiene conditions in an efficient and simple manner on the can surface. it can be safely put in the mouth and drinking can be done directly from the can without worrying about the presence of dirt or any bacteria before opening, as well as facilitating it as it covers the entire can, suppressed by publicity and publicity for this support much more economical and easier than conventional metal applications.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As is known, beverage cans are types of container that are widely used and whose main advantage is ease of use, without the need for cups or other containers for adequate and comfortable consumption of the contents. However, this type of container has the important disadvantage that, during transport and storage, which can be for a very long time, cans are very susceptible to the accumulation of dirt of different types, from simple dust, of any kind of substance on them it may eventually spill or accumulate, up to the excrement and urine of various animals (rats, cockroaches, ants, flies), which generally "freely roam" without inspection in warehouses and similar premises.

In some cases, these problems are partially solved by the use of plastic packages for "cartons or groups of cans that are used in certain companies. However, these packages do not completely cover the cans because they are usually partially open, but they do not have any kind of safety seal, and when the 'cartons' are divided into separate cans or smaller groups of cans, the packages break or are discarded directly, cans against hygienic elements, even pathogens, that can get into our mouths when drunk directly from the can.

On the other hand, printing information and / or public information is made much less expensive for plastic support, and easier than directly for metal cans.

Finally, another disadvantage is the fact that it is difficult to include reports and / or information directly on cans in Braille, which would allow reading of visually impaired people.

Thus, it would be desirable to provide some kind of security element with the hygienic conditions of the top surface on each can until the last time it is consumed by the user, and which also constitutes the advertising medium, which is the main object of the present invention. On the other hand, it should be noted that we are not aware of the existence of any other element having similar technical, constructional and configuration properties to the element proposed herein.

The essence of the technical solution

The protective cover and advertising medium for beverage cans proposed by this technical solution is therefore presented in the art as a significant novelty, since its application makes it possible to suitably achieve the stated objectives. Included indicative details that permit this are included in the final claims appended hereto, respectively.

In particular, the cover that is designed consists essentially of a body made of an adequately impermeable and sufficiently resistant material, preferably a thin plastic, a vegetable plastic, cellophane or the like, preferably carrying printed information, which takes a shape similar to that of a can and which is placed, for example, by a thermoforming technique applied to the material, among other possibilities, which encircles the entire material, which may optionally cover it at the upper and lower ends by incorporating the lids. Said cover is preferably provided with tearing means, which may be of any of the types commonly known, ensuring that the can is hygienic, and optionally incorporates corresponding lateral tongues to facilitate its opening.

It should be noted that the inclusion of the required cover, in addition to providing less costly advertising media than direct printing on a can, provides the ability to puncture the cover with points to add a promotion or trademark in visually impaired people

The new protective cover and advertising medium for beverage cans represents a new construction with structural and structural features that have not been known for this purpose yet, which, together with their practical use, provide a sufficient basis for obtaining the desired exclusivity privilege.

As can be seen in the above drawings, the described cover, which, as indicated, can be applied as a security element, in particular of a hygienic nature, and as an advertising medium for promotional messages and elements, consists essentially of a tubular body X made of appropriately impermeable. and of a sufficiently durable material, preferably of thin plastic, vegetable plastic, cellophane or the like, preferably carrying printed information and, optionally, also embossed with Bradlo lettering having a can-like shape 2, i.e. a cylindrical shape open at the upper and lower ends, with dimensions slightly larger than the dimensions of the can 2 so that it covers and embraces it laterally, because when heated, for its application, it adapts to the shape of the can, preferably covering the entire can.

Said tubular body X comprises at least one tear means, such as a partially overpriced strip 3 or any other known similar system, optionally having at least one tongue 4 at its end to facilitate its gripping.

Moreover, this technical solution describes the inclusion below the tubular body X forming the cover, in the upper part of the can or on both parts, the lower and upper, one or two additional foils 5, for hygienic coverage and protection of said parts thereby ensuring hygiene on the upper surface. a can 2 with a corresponding opening tongue in order to be able to drink directly from it.
