Tento typ koncovky alebo spojovacej svorky je známy napr. z patentu FR - 2601516 a patentu DE - 3824741. V prvom riešení je ochrana alebo kryt spoja vyhotovená pomocou použitia izolačnej vrstvy na hornej časti šesťhrannej hlavy upevňovacej skrutky. Problémy pri tomto riešení sú ťažkosti s dosiahnutím potrebných veľkostí momentov. Závitová časť momentovej skrutky použitej v druhom riešení je celá izolovaná od čeľusťových prvkov v kontakte s drôtmi.
