Abstract

A simulation related to a lining-up behavior in a transport system is easily performed. A simulation apparatus for simulating a lining-up behavior of a passenger of a transport system, when executing a simulation such that each passenger boards the transport system after lining up at any one of a plurality of boarding/alighting gates in a boarding area and alights from the transport system at the boarding/alighting gate at which the passenger boards the transport system in an alighting area, calculates a degree of attractiveness of each boarding/alighting gate to the passenger on the basis of the number of lining-up passengers at the boarding/alighting gate at a time of arrival of the passenger at the boarding area, and determines a boarding/alighting gate at which the passenger lines up on the basis of the calculated degree of attractiveness.
