Abstract

Mains water is divided between a cold water cycle for immediate consumption and a hot water cycle (6) where the water is heated by a prim. heat source and then stored in a tank, from where some of the water is fed directly to a valve (11) and some is fed to the valve via a special heat exchanger (5). The valve can be connected directly to a point where hot water is removed and is used to regulate the temperature of the water being removed to the desired level of e.g. 55 deg.C. The valve is controlled by a sensor (12). An Independent claim is also included for the control system.
