Abstract
PURPOSE:To carry out the heat treatment at high efficiency without causing the environmental pollution, by employing hot-water for the cooling medium whose temperature and flow rate are controlled uniformly, and moreover, by installing the partition plate in the water tank on purpose to control the cooling condition. CONSTITUTION:The rok 1 is delivered from the supply stand 2, is reheated in the heating furnace 3, is patented in the hot-water patenting tank 4, and is coiled by the coiler 5. At carrying out above treatments, the recycling pump 6 and the main tank 7 are installed in the outside of the hot-water patenting tank 4; the water is sent to the water supply port 8 by the pump 6, is discharged from the scupper 9, is returned to main tank 7, and is recycled; at the scupper 9 the water-flow control valve 10 is attached for the purpose of controlling to uniformize and stabilize the temperature (above 70 deg.C) and the flow rate of water. Besides, on purpose to arbitrarily control the cooling time for the rod passing over at a fixed speed, the partition groove 11 is installed in the water tank for making possible the partition plate 12 to be put in.
