Abstract

The invention concerns a heat exchanger and ventilation arrangement whose main casing 1 is divided into left and right halves, whereas the heat exchanger 2 is installed on crosspieces in the center part of the casing. The interior of one half of the main casing 1 is delimited by one of a pair of intermediate partition devices 5 positioned symmetrically relative to heat exchanger 2 to create a waste air passage, whereas the other intermediate partition device 5 delimits the interior of the other half of the casing to create a feed air passage. Each intermediate partition device 5 includes an intermediate position placed on the heat exchanger side and running parallel to the side surface of the main casing 1, an elongated partition 13 running parallel to the front end of the main casing 1 to its side surface and a transverse partition 14 running essentially parallel to the bottom of the main casing. Each surface in the heat exchanger in contact with a certain device is covered with a seal. An air-tight arrangement with low resistance is obtained with this simple design. <IMAGE>
