Abstract

The bridge is provided with a bridge span 13 which rests on pontoons 12 and which comprises a continuous, torsionally resistant roadway structure. The bridge span is tensioned in the horizontal plane by means of essentially horizontally extending cables 14 secured diagonally to each side of the longitudinal direction of the bridge span. These cables 14 are anchored in solid foundations 15 at distances from the landing points 16 of the bridge, on each side of the waterway. <IMAGE>
