Abstract
The invention relates to a floating tube bridge, comprising a continuous tube (5) which lies under the water surface, with foundations on the shore (2, 3). Said tube (5) contains roadways (10) and associated installations (11, 12). Tube (5) is arched both in the vertical plane, and in the horizontal plane, and is by the aid of rigid bracing pipes (6) connected with pontoons (7, 8, 9) which are distributed along the length of the tube bridge at the water surface. Tube (5) has positive buoyancy, and pontoons (7, 8, 9) are ballasted to keep tube (5) down.
