Abstract
Particularly for low-power nuclear reactors, the reactor pressure vessel (1) contains in addition to the reactor core (2) at least two heat exchangers (12) through which the reactor coolant flows in the circuit (40) via the reactor core. The circuit (40) of at least one heat exchanger (12) is influenced by an adjustable gate valve (34) so that it is possible even in the event of low drive forces, in particular in the case of natural circulation, for there to be a desired uniform loading of the heat exchangers (12). <IMAGE>
