Nuclear reactor system comprising, a generally cylindrical pressure vessel, a nuclear reactor core disposed centrally within said pressure vessel to establish an annular space between said pressure vessel and said reactor core, a pressure vessel heat exchanger mounted in said annular space to generate steam therein, a series of tubes inside said heat exchanger pressure vessel, each of said tubes having an inner conduit that is in liquid communication with said annular space, an inlet inlet of the feed water penetrating said generally cylindrical pressure vessel to establish liquid communication with the volume established between said heat exchanger pressure vessel and the outer surfaces of said tubes, and a steam impulse injector in liquid communication with said set volume to allow the steam coming out of said heat exchanger pressure vessel.
