Abstract

The pneumatic nail driver has a working cylinder (4) with driving piston (5). A pneumatically operable valve disc (13) controls the feeding or discharge of compressed air in the working space (15) lying behind the driving piston (5). Air is admitted to or evacuated from a control space (17) to actuate the valve disc (13). Serving this purpose is a connecting line (18) which can be coupled to compressed air or to the atmosphere via a release valve (23). A control valve (19) is arranged in the connecting line (18). When the release valve (23) is actuated, the control valve (19) connects the control space (17) to the atmosphere and can be changed over into a position in which compressed air is fed to the control space (17). <IMAGE>
