Abstract
Combustion device with a pre-pressurized fluidised bed (20) (PFBX-device) for the combustion of foremost solid fuel. In cyclones (6, 7, 8) it is cleaned from the bed (20) of outgoing gases. The isolated ash with unburned fuel is transported via an ash outflow (12, 16) to a collector receptacle. The ash outflow (12, 16) introduces air for afterburning of the fuel in the ash. This afterburning takes place in the ash outflow (12, 16). The ash and/or air are pre-warmed to the fuel's ignition temperature. A first part of the ash outflow (12) can be placed in the bed (20) for this warming up. Another part (16) for cooling of the ash can be placed in the air distribution chamber under the bottom (5) of the bed (20) and used for warming of the combustion and fluidisation air which is introduced to the bed (20). In an alternative process, a pipe coil (30) for warming of the afterburning air can be placed in the bed (20). This air is introduced to the ash distributor whereby it ignites the fuel and maintains combustion.<IMAGE>
