Abstract
Pumpable dispersion for water purification purposes containing iron (II) sulphate, at which the iron (II) sulphate is dispersed in a water phase with a dispersion agent containing a water-soluble calcium salt with non-basic anion. The best dispersion properties are retained with calcium chloride as a dispersion agent, at which the composition with levels of up to approx. 70% fixed iron (II) sulphate counted as heptahydrate on the total weight of the composition can be supplied and handled without difficulty. The water phase can to its benefit contain metal ions working with the water purification, such as Fe2+, Fe3+ and Al3+.
