Abstract

The connector comprises a tubular outer screw sleeve (3) with both external (7) and internal (8) threads at one end, and a wrench head (5) at the other. An inner belt (14) engages with the internal threads of the outer sleeve and has a head (17) bearing against its head. The outer screw is inserted first, followed by the inner one, so that stresses in the latter are transmitted to the former.
