Abstract

The pipe connector has an outer nut (25) which fits over the tube (14). The connector bush (9) fits inside the end of the tube and has serrations (17, 18) to grip the tube end. The collar (36) wedges the tube onto the bush. The front of the connector has a cone (9) which fits the bore of the mating piece (2). This piece has an external thread mating with the internal thread on the nut (25). The collar (36) has a tapered front edge (42).
