Abstract

A plug arrangement comprises a first electrically insulating body (10) having a first sleeve section (30) which surrounds (grips) a first annular outer rib (31). A second electrically insulating body (11) has a second sleeve section (32) with a second annular outer rib (33) and an inner stop (35). The second sleeve section (32) accommodates the first sleeve section (30), the accommodating movement being limited by the inner stop (35) on the first sleeve section (30) so that, in the fully inserted state, the first annular rib (31) is located at an axial distance from the second annular rib (32). Electrical plug elements are located in the bodies. An elastomeric annular sealing sleeve (16) has first, second and third annular inner ribs (36-38), the first inner rib (36) sealing the first sleeve section, the second inner rib (37) sealing the second sleeve section (32) and the third inner rib (38) projecting into the space between the two annular outer ribs (31 and 33) and producing a seal there and/or on the first sleeve section (30), the first outer rib (38) being located between the first and third inner ribs (36 and 38), the second outer rib (33) being arranged between the second and third inner ribs (37 and 38). Such an arrangement makes possible a good seal in order to prevent the ingress of dirt and moisture into the connecting regions between the two bodies. <IMAGE>
