Abstract

The assembly comprises an underwater motor 2 having an output shaft 3 on which an impeller 1 is fixedly mounted. The pump casing 6 is provided with an inlet port 4 in the lower end and at least one discharge port 5 in the circumferential wall thereof. The angular position of a nozzle 12 at each discharge port is variable. A short flexible hose 13 may be attached to a nozzle 12. A stirring blade 9 may be provided upstream of the impeller. The assembly has an agitating effect sufficient to attain rapid and vigorous floatation of deposits. <IMAGE>
