Abstract

Apparatus for use on a vehicle having a main drive shaft 38 and first and second output shafts 42, 44 operable for providing driving torque to the wheels of the vehicle. The apparatus comprises means 56, 58, 14 for sensing excessive difference in output speeds of the first and second output shafts to detect a slip condition and control means 10 operable to actuate clutch means 52 for eliminating the slip condition in response to the sensing means. The control means is operable for a predetermined time after actuation thereof, and is rendered inoperative upon application of the vehicle brakes. <IMAGE>
