Abstract

A housing 12 has a valve seat 18 and closing element 20 between a user connection 30 and an inflow connection 28 or a return connection 32. The closing element 20 is loaded by a spring 24 and actuated by a control piston 22. The control piston 22 has an axial bore 34 and a cross bore 36 forming a link to the return connection 32. The piston 22 has an (upper) actuating end 46 with flats 48 for coacting with matching notches 56, 60 of a rocker switch 50. The valve is used for the control of vehicle transmissions and is mounted beneath a handle 16 of a gear stick 14. <IMAGE>
