In order that the flushing water can be guided into the channels (13) in the correct manner and in two streams of equal size, the invention provides an insert (15) which has an inlet opening in the inlet (12) and outlet openings (19) in one channel (13) in each case. The throughflow cross-section of the outlet openings (19) can be regulated, with the result that adaptation to the pressure of the flushing water fed to the water-closet bowl can take place. For this purpose, an insert having a throughflow cross-section, of the openings (19), which is adapted to the prevailing flushing-water pressure is chosen, and this cross-section can then be reduced by means of an inner part (21) which can be introduced into the insert (15). <IMAGE>
