Abstract

The present invention relates to a device related to heating of compartments, where the heating is at least partly performed by means of air being heated by a source of heat in a heat exchanger device, whereby the compartment has a roof structural floor of concrete plates with a plurality of through flow channels for air. Known devices of said type are often used for heating of smaller houses or compartments, and the source of heat may then be constituted by wood stoves, open hearths or similar. The temperature of the hot air succeeding heat exchange with the combustion gases thereby often becomes very high, up to 80 degrees centigrade, and it is air of this temperature, which is to be introduced into the compartment to be heated. In a continuous heating, an air temperature at this level is too high to be utilised in a decent way by direct introduction into the compartment. Further, risk is present for the temperature even exceeding 80 degrees centigrade such that risk of fire will occur. These disadvantages are eliminated by the heated air being carried through a system of channels 7, 13 in a concrete structural floor 6, and at the introduction into the system of channels being firstly cooled in a channel section 8 insulated from the concrete. <IMAGE>
