Abstract

An apparatus for making collapsed assemblies of a plurality of bottomless paper pots comprises a paste applying device (2) for applying transverse bands of paste at longitudinally spaced intervals to a web (M) which has been formed by partially transversely overlapping and pasting a plurality of strips of flattened tubes, a cutter (41) for transversely severing the web (M) into pieces (N), a reversing device (50) having carrier tables for the cut pieces (N) alternate ones of said carrier tables being rotatable for turning alternate pieces (N) received by the device (50) through 180 DEG in their own plane, and serrated delivery and pressing wheels (87) for depositing the pieces (N) on edge on a table (89) and pressing the thus delivered pieces together so that they become adhered to one another by the previously applied paste. <IMAGE>
