Abstract

Method and arrangement for the continuous mixing of liquid and powder into a largely homogeneous mixture. The liquid and the powder are supplied via separate lines 22, 21 to a cavity 7 in a rotating wheel 3, 4 and a powder space 13 in the rotating wheel 3, 4 and are flung by centrifugal force outward against the periphery of the wheel. The liquid is pressed from the cavity 7 via a slot 8, 9 in the wheel in the direction of the top of the wheel and forms a fog screen upon emerging from the slot. This fog screen captures the powder grains flung out by centrifugal force from the powder spaces 13 and forms a mixture with them. <IMAGE>
