Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the title fluophor useful for television, etc., by dispersing a pigment particle-adhered fluophor in a mixed aqueous solution of gelation and gum arabi to form, on the fluophor surface, a film consisting of their mixture, effecting better adherence of the pigment particles.
CONSTITUTION: Each 0.01W1.2 parts by wt. of gelatin and gum arabi are dissolved in water to prepare a mixed aqueous solution, in which 100 parts by wt. of a pigment particle-adhered fluophor is dispersed to form, on the fluophor surface, a film consisting of their mixture. The resulting fluophor is subsequently separated by filtration, centrifuging, etc., washed, and dried, thus obtaining the objective fluophor.
