'FöMZÉS-Û till resultat ger att metallkarbonylsansamlingar bundna i zeolitens inre kristallstruktur bildas.
Rent allmänt kan vilken som helst zeolit, i vars kristallstruktur det finnes hàlrum med lämplig storlek, användas som bärare, inuti vilken man medelst förfarandet enligt uppfinningen kan syntetisera metallkarbonylan- samlingar och närmare bestämt karbonyler av metaller tillhörande det periodiska systemets grupp VIII. l zeoliter, i vilka hälrummen är förbundna med kanaler med en storlek som är mindre än storleken hos de metallkar- bonylansamlingar som syntetiserats i zeoliternas inre, förblir dessa ansam- lingar instängda i zeolitens kristallstruktur, varigenom det blir praktiskt taget omöjligt för katalysatorn att komma ut i reaktionsblandningen. Pâ grund av storleken hos hàlrummen och hos de hàlrummen förbindande kanalerna är zeoliterna av typerna X och Y de som med speciell fördel användes som bärare vid förfarandet enligt uppfinningen. I själva verket har zeoliter av' typen faujazite, till vilka zeoliterna X och Y hör, en struktur i vilken tre typer av halrum finnes, sàsom bildade av tetraedrar av SiO4 och A104.
Av dessa hàlrum har de största, vilka kallas superburar, en diameter av ca 13 Å och är inbördes förbundna medelst kanaler med en storlek av 8-9 Å, medan de minsta hâlrummen har en diameter understigande 7 Å. _ Metallkarbonylansamlingarna syntetiseras in situ i superburarna medelst förfarandet enligt föreliggande uppfinning och förblir inneslutna i zeolitstrukturen, eftersom deras dimensioner är för stora för kanalerna i zeolitstrukturen, men förblir tillgängliga för katalytiska reaktioner i de fall att substratet till följd av sina dimensioner har tillgång till metallkarbonylan- samlingarna i zeolitstrukturen.
Det karakteristiska särdraget vid förfarandet enligt uppfinningen innebär att zeoliten bringas i utbyteskontakt med komplexa föreningar av typen ERh(NH3)6:ffX3, där X är en halogen. Den pà detta sätt utbytta zeoliten behandlas därefter med en blandning av H2 och CD vid ett tryck och en temperatur, som väljes i beroende av metallen. En bekräftelse på att bildningen av metallkarbonylansamlingarna fullbordats erhålles genom infra- rödspektroskopi genom undersökning av bandet 2100-2800 cm'1, som är typiskt för de koordinerade karbonylerna. Den slutliga halten avrnetallkar- bonyl i zeoliten kan varieras till önskat värde genom reglering av intensiteten av utbytet. 7801215-(1 Ur ekonomisk synpunkt är det av speciellt intresse att man ej förlorar någon metall under utbytesprocessen och ej heller under reduktions- processen. Sedan metallkarbonylansamlingarna framställts i zeoliten, kan denna efter tvättning och torkning lagras utan några speciella åtgärder under långa tidsperioder utan att något sönderfall av det i zeoliten inneslutna komplexet kan påvisas.
Metallkarbonylansamlingar framställda på det beskrivna sättet bibehåller sina katalytiska egenskaper och är speciellt lämpliga att använda för hydroformylering av olefiner och diener, såsom visas i de efterföljande exemplen.
Ehuru reaktionerna med fördel genomföras i vätskefas, kan kata- lysatorer framställda enligt uppfinningen även användas för reaktioner utför- da i gasfas. i det följande skall uppfinningen ytterligare illustreras medelst ett antal exempel.
'Mfiíïšš-G Exempel l 3 g av zeolit Na Y utbyttesmed rodium, genom att zeoliten sammanfördes med 80 mg av komplexet Rh(NH3)6fCl3, framställt medelst konventionella metoder, lösta i 50 ml vatten. Efter ca 48 timmar visade UV-spektrat för lösningen, att komplexet lämnat lösningen, och analys av kloridjonerna i lösningen indikerade, att utbytet hade ägt rum. Den på detta sätt behandlade zeoliten tvättades därefter med vatten, tills kloridjonerna ej längre kunde detekteras, och tor- kades därefter. Närvaron av rodiumaminkomplexet i zeolitens inre kristallstruktur bekräftades genom identifiering i infrarödspektrat av ett band vid 1322 cm_l, vilket band är karakteristiskt för detta komplex. Den så erhållna, med rodium utbytta zeoliten behandlades därefter i en autoklav under 48 timmar vid l30oC med en blandning av CO och H2 (l:l) under ett tryck av 80 atm, vilket gav en produkt som l5 var intensivt rödfärgad och som vid analys uppvisade en rodiumhalt av l %. Infrarödspektrat visade, att bandet vid 1322 cm-1, som är karakteristiskt för rodiumaminkomplexet, försvunnit och att markanta band uppstått vid 2095, 2080 (sh), 2060 och 1765 cm-1. Dessa band indikerar närvaron av koordinerad kolmonoxid och visar, att karbonyl- rodiumansamlingar bildats i zeoliten.
Den på detta sätt framställda katalysatorn användes för hydro- 3 milligram- formylering av hexen-l. 71 mg av katalysatorn (7 x l0_ atomer rodium) och l ml hexen-l i 5 ml hexan infördes i en autoklav med en volym av 200 ml, som fylldes med en blandning av CO och H2 (l:l) under ett tryck av 80 atm och uppvärmdes till 80°C. Efter 8 timmar kyldes autoklaven till rumstemperatur och reaktionsbland- ningen analyserades medelst gaskromatografi. Omvandlingen av hexen-1 till aldehyd var ca 98 %, varav 51 % var heptanal, 4l % var 2-metyl- hexanal och 8 % var 2-etyl-pentanal. Ändra reaktionsprodukter före- c: kom i mängder understigande 1 6.
Exempel 2 - 9 Katalysatorn enligt Exempel l återvanns genom filtrering från 7 reaktionsblandningen och användes på nytt, under samma betingelser, i åtta efterföljande prov på hydroformylering (se tabellerna l och 2 nedan). Prov nr 8,som gav samma resultat med avseende på omvandlinge- värdena och sammansättningen av reaktionsblandningen som vid Exempel l, visar den höga stabiliteten hos katalysatorn, som bibehåller sina egenskaper oförändrade även efter ett antal upprepade katalysations- cykler. 7801215-0 .
Förlusten av katalysator under reaktionen är utomordentligt liten, och den genomsnittliga halten av rodium i reaktionsblandningen, såsom analyserat genom atomabsorption, var i själva verket ca 3 npm.

Efter 8 timmar återfördes autoklaven till rumstemperatur och reaktions- blandningen analyserades medelst gaskromatografi.
Omvandlingen av 1,5-hexadien var högre än 80 %, varav 41 % var fyra isomerer av dialdehyder i de pro- 6 % var monoaldehyd och 51 % centuella halterna 42 %, 8 %, resp. 3 %.
Claims (2)
1. Förfarande för framställning av metallkarbonylkatalysatorer, sem innehåller metallkarbonylansamlingar inneslutna i kristallstrukturen hos zeo- liter, genom jonbytesbehandling av en zeolit med en rodiumförening och därefter tvättar och torkas zeoliten, k ä n n e t e c k n a t därav, att man jonbytesbehandlar en zeolit av typ X eller Y med en rodiumjonkomplexföre- ning, därefter reducerar den behandlade zeoliten och karbonylerar metallen som sådan.
2. Användning av den enligt krav l framställda metallkarbonylkata- lysatorn för hydroformylering av olefiner och diener.
