Tightening of the nut 24, with the nuts 17 slack, automatically centralizes the composite shaft 3, 12 in bearings 4, 19, the bearing 19 being arranged in a housing 18 connected to legs 14 attached to a supporting flange 15 and the pump cover 8, to take the radial and axial loadings of the impeller 11.
