Abstract
1,020,771. Ionisation gas analysis apparatus. DANSKE SECURITAS A/S. Dec. 27, 1962 [Dec. 30, 1961], No. 1020771. Heading G1N. [Also in Division H1] An electric alarm system, preferably for fire detection comprises two ionisation chambers connected in series, the ionisation currents therethrough being represented in the drawing by leakage resistances 25, 26. The balancing point 20 of an A.C. bridge network constituted by capacitors 21, 22, 31, 32 and transformer 29 is connected to the midpoint 18 of the serially connected ionisation chambers, and in normal use no signal is received by the A.C. current amplifier 28. However, if the ionisation current in one of the chambers is altered, e.g. by the presence of aerosols, then the bridge will no longer be balanced and a signal relay 19 will be operated.
