Abstract

1,209,586. Alarm systems. GROUPEMENT ATOMIQUE ALSACIENNE ATLANTIQUE. 20 Feb., 1969 [20 Feb.. 1968], No. 9275/69. Addition to 1,120,455. Heading G4H. The normal holding current of the alarm system claimed in the parent Specification is reduced by a bridge circuit having one of its arms connected to a satellite station 1-3, 5, 6, a comparator 11 providing an amplified unbalance signal to the central station when the holding current changes from its normal value in response to operation of switch 1. Comparator 11 may be an operational difference amplifier, one input of which is earthed through an overload protection and filter circuit 14. Separate threshold detectors may be connected to line 22 to detect different line conditions.
