Abstract
1, 062, 832. Smoke detectors. DANSKE SECURITAS A/S. March 5, 1965 [March 7, 1964], No.9580/65. Addition to 1, 020, 771, Heading G1N. The smoke detector of the parent Specification, wherein a reference and test ionization chambers are connected in a bridge circuit to actuate a relay on unbalance, is modified by providing positive feedback from the output of the relayoperating-amplifier through a transformer to the bridge so that the amplifier becomes self oscillating to sustain the alarm circuit. Modifications. Fig. 2 (not shown):- (i) a contact (21) may be arranged to connect resistors (16, 23) across the potentiometer in event of a fault e. g. in the radioactive member; (ii) a thermal "fire detecting" fuse (24) may be provided; (iii) a test button (27) may be provided.
