Abstract
FIELD: mechanical engineering; mining equipment. SUBSTANCE: outline of scraper conforms to outline of initial scraper and it is provided with pockets made for displacement of metal in amount equal to amount of metal lost by scraper as a result of wear. To make metal scraper first of all acceptable outline of wear is determined, then worn scraper is measured and its size is compared with acceptable outline of wear, then worn out scraper is heated to plastic deformation temperature and is placed between dies to form scraper with initial outline. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 6 dwg
