Abstract

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: pencil relates to abrasive dressing tools and allows for substitution of expensive natural diamonds with polycrystal material, higher reliability of fixing cutting members in insert, possibility of use up to complete work-out, stable operational characteristics in process of dressing, retention of initial strength properties of cutting members, and all that is achieved, because dressing pencil has body with hard-alloy insert fastened in it with cutting members made of superhard material. Cutting members are made in the form of prism or cylinder from polycrystal material with their outer surface covered with adhesive-active coating. Their height is at least 1.5 times larger than maximal cross-sectional dimension. Cutting members can be located coaxially with pencil body and are also displaced relative to each other in radial or circular direction. Method of production implies cold pressing of hard-alloy mixture with cutting members of superhard material. Then pressed article together with copper in the form of bar as impregnating material are placed in graphite pressmould, pressmould is heated for impregnation and thus produced insert is connected with preliminarily made pencil body. Cold pressing is performed in metal pressmould at pressure of 500-600 kgf/sq.cm. Cross-sectional area of copper bar used as impregnating material corresponds to cross-sectional area of pressed article and its mass content is 55-60% of pressed article mass. Copper bar is installed on end of pressed article. Graphite pressmould is heated in open air by induction method with inductor being installed in height at level of pressed article. Изобретение относится к конструкциям и производству абразивного правящего инструмента, в частности правящих карандашей, и обеспечивает возможность замены дорогостоящих природных алмазов на поликристаллический материал, повышение надежности закрепления режущих элементов во вставке, возможность их использования до полной отработки, стабильность эксплуатационных характеристик в процессе правки, сохранение исходных прочностных свойств режущих элементов, что достигается тем, что в правящем карандаше, содержащем корпус и закрепленную в нем твердосплавную вставку с режущими элементами из сверхтвердого материала, согласно изобретению режущие элементы выполнены в виде призмы или цилиндра из поликристаллического материала с нанесенным на их наружную поверхность адгезионно-активным покрытием, при этом их высота не менее чем в 1,5 раз превышает наибольший размер поперечного сечения, режущие элементы могут быть расположены соосно с корпусом карандаша, а также смещены друг относительно друга в радиальном или окружном направлении; в способе изготовления правящих карандашей, при котором осуществляют холодное прессование твердосплавной смеси с режущими элементами из сверхтвердого материала, затем полученную прессовку и в качестве пропитывающего материала медь в виде прутка располагают в графитовой пресс-форме, осуществляют пропитку путем нагрева пресс-формы и соединяют полученную вставку с предварительно изготовленным корпусом карандаша, согласно изобретению холодное прессование производят в металлической пресс-форме при давлении 500 - 600 кг/см, в качестве пропитывающего материала используют пруток меди, площадь поперечного сечения которого соответствуют площади поперечного сечения прессовки, а массовое содержание составляет 55 - 66% от массового содержания прессовки, при этом устанавливают на торец прессовки соосно с последним, а нагрев графитовой пресс-формы производят на открытом воздухе индукционным методом, располагая индуктор по высоте на уровне прессовки.The invention relates to the design and manufacture of an abrasive ruling tool, in particular ruling pencils, and provides the ability to replace expensive natural diamonds with polycrystalline material, increasing the reliability of fixing the cutting elements in the insert, the possibility of their use until they are fully worked out, stability of operational characteristics during the dressing process, preservation of the original strength properties of cutting elements, which is achieved by the fact that in the ruling pencil containing the housing and fixed therein a carbide insert with cutting elements made of superhard material, according to the invention, the cutting elements are made in the form of a prism or cylinder of polycrystalline material with an adhesive-active coating deposited on their outer surface, while their height is not less than 1.5 times the largest size cross-section, the cutting elements can be located coaxially with the pencil body, and also offset relative to each other in the radial or circumferential direction; in a method for manufacturing straightening pencils, in which the carbide mixture is cold pressed with cutting elements made of superhard material, then the resulting compact is pressed and, as an impregnating material, the copper in the form of a rod is placed in a graphite mold, it is impregnated by heating the mold, and the resulting insert is connected with a pre-made pencil case, according to the invention, cold pressing is carried out in a metal mold at a pressure of 500 - 600 kg / cm, as propi of the melting material, a copper rod is used, the cross-sectional area of which corresponds to the cross-sectional area of the compact, and the mass content is 55 - 66% of the mass content of the compact, while it is mounted coaxially with the latter on the end of the compact, and the graphite mold is heated by induction in the open air method, placing the inductor in height at the level of pressing.
