Opposite surfaces of electrodes are made with pointed surface elements in form of projections, hills, slots whose size equals 10-20% of electrode thickness. This provides required combination of "point-flat" spark gaps which increases spark discharge power in internal combustion engine. EFFECT: improved stability of engine operation, facilitated engine starting, provision of complete combustion of fuel, simplified design of spark plug. 2 dwg

Изобретение касается конструкции свечи зажигания для ДВС. Свеча зажигания имеет металлический корпус, изолятор с встроенным центральным электродом, общий "массовый" боковой электрод, закрепленный на корпусе и установленный с некоторым зазором относительно центрального электрода. Для повышения стабильности работы ДВС, облегчения его запуска, обеспечения полного сгорания горючей смеси с одновременным упрощением конструктивно-технологической реализации противолежащие поверхности электродов выполнены с острыми поверхностными элементами типа выступов, бугорков, прорезей, величина которых составляет 10 - 20% от толщины общего электрода.
