Задачей изобретения является разработка способа подготовки жидкого топлива, неравномерно обводненного, имеющего локальные включения воды, обеспечивающего при его использовании эффективность и надежность работы установок. Способ подготовки жидкого топлива к сжиганию заключается в его отборе из исходного топливного резервуара, измерении влажности и направлении на гомогенизацию несколькими потоками. Отдельным потоком на гомогенизацию подают воду. После гомогенизации осуществляют выравнивание концентрации полученной водотопливной эмульсии по объему путем направления потоков эмульсии по нескольким трубопроводам. После смешения потоков измеряют влажность водотопливной эмульсии и устанавливают расход воды в соответствии с измеренным значением и влажностью исходного топлива. Использование предлагаемого способа позволит повысить эффективность работы дизельного двигателя на 2-5% при одновременном снижении сажистых частиц в продуктах сгорания в 5 раз в сравнении с сжиганием мазута, предварительно отсепарированного на специальном оборудовании.The invention relates to energy and can be used in thermal power plants and in internal combustion engines.
