Abstract

FIELD: long time uninterrupted production of electrical power, method is mainly used on space objects. SUBSTANCE: liquid working medium is heated in gas generator 1 by heat energy of long action source, for example, nuclear reactor and converted in steam, fed into steam turbine 2 coupled with electrical generator 3. Substance capable to condense from steam-shaped medium into liquid state medium due to expansion and connected with it cooling during passing through turbine, for example, freons, hydrocarbons, ammonia, water is used as working medium. Working medium condensate is taken away by mounted after turbine and communicated with it hermetically sealed and made of heat-conducting material cylinder and sent into steam generator for multiple reuse. Working medium heating in steam generator is heated up to temperature allowing its cooling during passing through turbine to temperature, that is below boiling temperature and critical temperature. EFFECT: method allows to produce uninterrupted electrical power for long time duration. 3 cl, 1 dwg

The invention is intended for continuous and uninterrupted production of electric energy, mainly at space objects. The liquid working fluid is heated in a steam generator 1 using a long-term source of thermal energy, for example, a nuclear reactor, converted to steam and sent to a steam turbine 2 connected to an electric generator 3. A substance capable of condensing from vapor to liquid is used as a working fluid due to expansion and the associated cooling during passage through a turbine, for example, freons, hydrocarbons, ammonia, water. The condensate of the working fluid is collected using a sealed cylinder made of heat-conducting material installed behind the turbine and connected to it, and sent for repeated use in a steam generator. The working fluid in the steam generator is heated to a temperature that allows it to cool when it passes through the turbine below the boiling point and critical temperature.
