Abstract

FIELD: electrochemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in selective dissolution in electrolyte of cementing and admixing metals contained in gold-containing concentrate and isolating these in series from electrolyzer. Implementation of the method is achieved when using as an electrolyte aqueous solution of alkali metal hydroxide in proportion 10-80 g per 0.8-1.5 L of water, or aqueous solution of sulfamic acid in proportion 10-150 g per 0.8- 1.5 L of water. EFFECT: provided environmental safety.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to electrochemistry and can be used for refining in technological processes at metallurgical enterprises. The invention consists in the selective dissolution of cementing and impurity metals contained in a gold-containing concentrate in an electrolyte, and sequential extraction of these metals from the electrolyzer. In this case, an aqueous solution of an alkali metal hydroxide in a ratio of 10 to 80 g for every 0.8 to 1.5 liters of water or an aqueous solution of sulfamic acid in a ratio of 10 to 150 g for every 0.8 to 1 is selected as a substance for the method, 5 liters of water. The proposed method for processing a metal gold-containing concentrate and a substance for its implementation provide the possibility of an environmentally friendly process for the selective selection of cementing metals.
