Abstract

FIELD: treatment of natural, particular, underground water from compounds of iron, manganese and ammonium in water supply systems of cities, settlements and separate industrial objects. SUBSTANCE: device for treatment of natural (underground) water from compounds of iron, manganese and ammonium has branch pipes for supply of water to be purified, purified and washing water, receiving chamber and filter medium. Device also has aerator trough installed at angle of 30-40 deg to horizon. Trough bottom has transverse slots whose edges are bent to opposite sides. Trough serves for aeration of water flow that results in intensive oxidation of variable-valency iron and manganese in reaction with dissolved oxygen. Oxide and hydroxide of iron and manganese precipitate during settling and filtering which acting as catalyst absorbs and intensifies precipitation process. Filtrate is removed by back flushing. Ammonium decomposes into ammonia gas and escapes due to reduced concentration. EFFECT: higher technico-economical efficiency and degree of purification of natural water from compounds of iron, manganese and ammonium.

Изобретение относится к очистке (водоподготовке) природных, особенно подземных, вод от соединения железа, марганца и аммония и может быть использовано в водоснабжении городов, населенных пунктов и отдельных объектов промышленности. Задача изобретения: повышение технико-экономической эффективности, степени счистки природных вод от соединения железа, марганца и аммония. Устройство содержит патрубки для подачи очищаемой, очищенной и промывной воды, приемную камеру с фильтрующий загрузкой, снабжено лотком-аэратором, установленным под углом 30-40° к горизонту, в дне лотка выполнены поперечные щели,кромки которых отогнуты в противоположные стороны. Лоток служит для аэрирования потока воды, в результате чего происходит интенсивное окисление переменно-валентного железа и марганца при взаимодействии с растворенным кислородом. Оксид и гидрооксид железа и марганца выпадают в осадок при отстаивании и фильтровании, который, выполняя функции катализатора, адсорбирует и усиливает процесс осаждения. Фильтрат удаляется обратной промывкой. Аммоний разлагается на аммиак и улетучивается, т.к. уменьшается концентрация. Предлагаемое устройство дает положительный эффект, т.е. железа до 98,48%, марганца до 36%, а аммония до 32,2 %.The invention relates to the purification (water treatment) of natural, especially underground, water from compounds of iron, manganese and ammonium and can be used in the water supply of cities, towns and individual industrial facilities. The tray serves to aerate the flow of water, as a result of which intense oxidation of alternating valence iron and manganese occurs when interacting with dissolved oxygen. The oxide and hydroxide of iron and manganese precipitate during sedimentation and filtration, which, acting as a catalyst, adsorbs and enhances the deposition process. The filtrate is removed by backwashing. Ammonium decomposes into ammonia and evaporates, because concentration decreases. The proposed device gives a positive effect, i.e. iron up to 98.48%, manganese up to 36%, and ammonium up to 32.2%.
